ALBA Suomi Finland höll årsmöte på biblioteket Ode, Helsingfors, onsdagen den 8 maj kl 15-18.
Till ny ordförande valdes Ca Cedercreutz-Bäck, mångårig styrelsemedlem i ALBA och berättare med inriktning särskilt på barn och unga.

María Serrano lämnade på begäran ordförandeposten för att denna period ta på sig ansvaret som viceordförande.
Till styrelsen invaldes: Margherita Zilliacus, sekreterare, Marina Hildegard Sesay, Airi Forsell och som suppleanter Pia Abrahamsson,  Carla-Rose Häkkinen och Paulo de Tarso F. Silva.


Alba SuomiFinland arbetar kring workshops, Story Sharing caféer, organiserar informella berättarkvällar för barn, unga och vuxna och vidareutvecklar samarbetet i Norden och också i internationella sammanhang. En stor satsning är att som en part medverka i arrangerandet av den kommande festivalen Seaside Stories14-17.11 2019 i Hangö. ALBA SuomiFinland välkomnar gamla och nya medlemmar till att i gemenskap finna vägar för att nära det enkla hantverkets, berättandets, helande kraft!

ALBA SuomiFinland had the annual meeting at the Oodi Library in Helsinki on Wednesday the 8th of May from 3pm to 6pm.
Ca Cedercreutz-Bäck, who has been part of the board for several years, was chosen as the new chairperson. María Serrano, former chairperson, stepped back of free will and was chosen vice-chairperson.


The new board members are Margherita Zilliacus, Marina Hildegard Sesay,  Airi Forsell and as deputy members Pia Abrahamsson, Carla-Rose Häkkinen and Paulo de Tarso F. Silva.


We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to María Serrano for all the work she has done as a the chairperson of  Alba SuomiFinland. We are happy to continue benefiting from her contribution to the association as an important member of the board.


In the coming period, Alba SuomiFinland offers workshops, takes an active part in Story Sharing Cafés, organizes story evenings for children, youth and adults and continuously develops cooperation with the Nordic ALBA by also actively participating in International  contexts. Much resources and care will be invested in the forthcoming Seaside Stories Festival which will take place on the 14th to 17th of November 2019 in Hanko-Hangö.


ALBA SuomiFinland welcomes old and new members to continuously get involved on finding new ways of nourishing the old and traditional work of storytelling as a healing art!
